Coming Home to the Body

Coming Home to the Body

Coming home to the body means learning its language and befriending its needs to build true nervous system capacity. We are more than just biology; our nervous system is the silent architect, directing our entire experience from behind the scenes.

What you will learn?

Deep Understanding of Nervous System Responses

Dive more into how the nervous system moves from one state to another, and how to leverage this knowledge for healing and building capacity for pleasure.

Variety of Exercises

In this workshop, you will be exposed to a variety of exercises, some activating and others regulating, to practice how the nervous system works experientially.

Understanding the link between Trauma & Capacity

During this workshop, I discuss the link between our capacity and our traumatic history, and how you can build more capacity even if you haven't worked through your traumas yet.

How to reach to safety IN YOUR BODY

You will learn practical tips to reach a sense of safety in your skin. Not only that, but you will also understand why they work, so you can pick the right tool at the right time.

A snippet of what is waiting for you inside!

Glimpses of Hope

I faced my body and finally understood the reasons behind everything I feel and how to move through it. I can now interpret what my body is telling me in the moment—whether it's afraid or what it needs me to do.

For the first time, I feel at home within myself. I understand what my body is feeling and I want to soothe it, because I feel a sense of total peace afterward.

I felt like I finally befriended my body. I want to nurture it and tell it: 'I am here with you, and I understand you.

I’ve started to understand exactly when my body is telling me: 'Stop and listen to me.'

When I look in the mirror now, I see myself as more beautiful and I actually want to talk to myself. My self-perception has changed; it’s like I’m seeing someone new. When I went to sleep, for the first time, I felt like I was in a safe place inside myself; I was comfortable and happy.

At first, I felt the same fear I have of heights, but once I started the exercises, I noticed my response improved. I’m no longer as afraid as I used to be.

I learned to accept myself unconditionally. I am not a machine meant to achieve things just to have value. I learned to love myself for who I am, not for my accomplishments—I used to feel worthless if I wasn't constantly producing.

I understood that we aren't machines. It’s okay to feel like we want to stop and rest because we are finally in tune with ourselves and what we need.

I started to be thankful of my body every night before bed. I gained so much information that brought me peace and answered long-standing questions. It opened my mind to things I never knew or expected; I finally understand why my body responds the way it does and when it needs my help.

I learned that 'knowing' is very different from 'applying.' Knowledge alone isn't enough; it requires practice

This workshop is for you if ..

  • Feel disconnected from your body and want to reclaim that connection and understand its language.
  • Are trapped in the "achievement trap" and feel your worth is tied to your output.
  • Are looking for practical tools, not just theories, to regulate your nervous system.
  • Feel constant exhaustion and want to understand why your body responds with fear or fatigue.
  • Want to build capacity for pleasure and increase your ability to feel safe and happy.
Yalla!

& It's not for you if you ..

  • Are looking for magic, quick fixes. This is a gradual experiential journey.
  • Prefer purely theoretical learning without applying movement or sensory exercises.
  • Aren't ready to listen to your body's messages; it requires courage to face sensations.
  • Are looking for a replacement for professional somatic therapy for deep trauma.
  • Don't want to slow down; this won't suit someone who insists on treating themselves as a machine.

*Note: This workshop respects your nervous system's capacity; our goal isn't to add pressure, but to teach you how to invest in yourself with awareness and kindness

Do you have a question?

The workshop is recorded to give you the freedom to watch and practice at your own pace. You can break it down over several days, as we always encourage "slowness" and not over-taxing the nervous system.

The exercises are sensory and based on gentle movement (Somatics). They aren't strenuous "workouts," but mindful movements aimed at exploring and regulating your nervous system's responses.

No, this is an educational training aimed at building "capacity" and self-regulation. If you are dealing with deep, active trauma, we always recommend working with a specialist alongside the workshop to ensure a safe healing journey.

The content is available for [insert duration here - e.g., one full year], ensuring you can return to the exercises whenever you feel your nervous system needs support.

This is a very natural and welcome feeling! Investing in yourself shouldn't be an added burden. If you feel overwhelmed, it's a message from your body asking for "pause"، and that is actually your first lesson in the workshop.
