My clients say they feel a sense of peace with me.
My friends say they feel a surge of energy around me.
My team says they feel a spark of inspiration from me.
At the end of the day, you will find me on my comfy couch corner, listening to a book, hyper-focused on a new interest, or watching a favorite show for the gazillionth time.
My work stems from understanding the nervous system and expanding its capacity for safety, play, and pleasure. Our bodies are so fascinating and capable of integration and transformation.
Together, we grow stronger, faster, and wiser. That’s why I enjoy holding workshops, programs, support groups, and my signature Body Play™ and Pleasure Lab™ classes within my growing community.
I consider myself a polymath nerd with diverse interests and hobbies, from art to building systems to anatomy. I like to draw perspectives from different fields, thanks to my neurodivergent brain.

My journey as a trauma therapist started with me as a client when I had been in therapy for years. Even though I reached a point of managing a functioning life, something was missing. I didn’t feel joy, pleasure, or even alive.
Being the polymath nerd that I am, I went down the internet rabbit hole to the extent that I set up a notification for any study or research that gets published with the word “trauma” in the title.
Not so long after, I discovered the world of somatics!
Learning about the nature and dynamics of trauma in Somatic Experiencing opened my eyes to the various genres of trauma. I pursued separate training in each and every one of them.
With my interest in anatomy, I became curious about more hands-on experience. That’s why I am a level 2 Trager Approach practitioner, a bodywork somatic education method.
In Trager training, I learned about the mechanics and effective movement of our bones, muscles, and fascia.
During my work with Vaginismus patients, FGM (Female Genital Mutilation) and sexual trauma survivors, I became aware of the lack of experiential work in the field of sexology.
This motivated me to fill this gap through somatic sex therapy and somatic sex education.
Supported by Somatica Advanced Coaching and AASECT-certified Vaginismus training, my work expanded to include more genres around pleasure, intimacy, and desire.
This way, I can help my clients beyond trauma, from pain to pleasure and everything in between.
I always had doubts that I had autistic traits, but I thought everyone was on the spectrum. I was wrong!
Despite my education in psychology, I had subscribed to the stereotypes around autism. Being a late-diagnosed autistic (in my 30’s), I learned that it doesn’t have a particular outlook, and the spectrum is non-linear.
My hyperfocus drove me to pursue training around diagnosis, accommodations, unmasking, and providing neuroaffirmative care to support not only myself but also my neurodivergent clients.

Working with Yasmine, I've personally witnessed her professionalism and profound expertise in the programs and content she delivers. I've had the privilege of hosting Yasmine as a speaker at numerous meetings and forums, where she's addressed topics related to psychosomatic therapy. Each time, the personal benefit and insights I gained were truly amazing, a fact consistently reinforced by the audience's engagement.
What's more, I personally know many individuals from the "Tanshea" community who have directly benefited from working with her, attending her workshops, or through her membership program.
Our Arab world is in desperate need of professional therapists and specialists like Yasmine. I am incredibly grateful for her presence among us.
Your credentials and your expertise help create a positive experience with the clients. Your demeanor is warm, understanding and non-judgmental which allows people to relax and so absorb more of the work you do.
A regulated and healed nervous system is essential for the holistic healing of my clients. Along with the nutritional and herbal recommendations I give to my clients, I highly believe in the importance of healing their nervous system.
